What it is

DYANNA is a personal AI companion. It works on screen and through a robotic arm. It uses voice, vision, and a language model.

Why I am building it

In the Iron Man films, Tony Stark has an AI at his side through his work, his battles, and his daily life. It is loyal to him. It understands him better than anyone. It handles his tasks with precision and some humor. I want to build that kind of companion. I want to train it until its personality and habits match mine.

What it will do

• Listen to voice commands.
• See objects and people with a camera.
• Pick up and hand over objects with a robotic arm.
• Handle daily tasks and reminders.
• Understand how I think and what I need.
• Remember my habits and preferences.
• Stay loyal to me and keep my data private.
• Reply with a personality I choose.

How I am building it

I am building the AI and the robotic arm at the same time. The AI comes first. The arm fills the gaps while parts print and ship.

AI track

1. The brain: a C++ program that talks to a language model, with a persona that sets loyalty, humor, and tone.
2. Voice: speech to text and text to speech.
3. Memory: a database of my habits and preferences.

Arm track

1. Design and print one joint.
2. Build and wire the full arm.
3. Write C++ motion control.

Connect
The AI calls simple tools such as move arm and find object. I start with fake versions that only print what they would do. Then I replace each one with real arm code.

• Add the camera and object detection.
• Pick up an object on voice command.
• Add safety limits and polish.
